Seeds of Hope, Inc. Seeds of Hope is a transitional home where women come to recover from drug and alcohol addiction. We were established on September 24, 1999 as a 501(c)(3) organization. The program offers women relapse prevention classes, spirituality classes and hands-on life skills training. The women commit to 6 months to a year in our program. One important aspect of recovery is to be well-rested in order to clear the mind. When the mind is clear, learning can take place. “Perpetual quietness of heart." It is to have no trouble. It is never to be fretted or vexed, irritable or sore; to wonder at nothing that is done to me, to feel nothing done against me. It is to be at rest when nobody praises me, and when I am blamed or despised, it is to have a blessed home in myself where I can go in and shut the door and kneel to my Father in secret and be at peace, as in a deep sea of calmness, when all around and about is seeming trouble.” “Andrew Murray” The women at Seeds of Hope come from all walks of life. Many have even been homeless. Since Seeds of Hope is now the place they call “home”, we are raising funds to cover new bedroom suits with new mattresses so that the ladies can recover in comfort and peace with a clear mind.
